Supreme Air LLC. offers professional Air Duct Cleaning for your home and business. Since we're a licensed Heating and Air Conditioning Contractor in the state of Maryland, we have the know-how and experience to clean your air ducts the right way.
The frequency of duct cleaning in your home depends on your lifestyle. Industry professionals recommend having your air ducts and grills inspected every two years, and having them professionally cleaned every five to seven years, depending on the conditions of your home.
The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA), the organization that provides training, education and certification, which has set the standard of the American HVAC industry, does not recommend a specific time period between duct cleanings. The NADCA leaves the decision to the homeowner, and adds that certain factors may require more frequent cleanings. Factors such as smoking in the house, pets that shed lots of hair and dander, water contamination or damage to the home or HVAC system, residents with allergies or asthma who might benefit from a reduction of indoor air pollution, home renovations or remodeling. The NADCA also recommends air duct cleaning prior to occupancy of a new home.
It is important to make sure that the contractor you select uses "source removal" methods when cleaning your duct system. This method uses a specialized, powerful vacuum, which sucks air and dirt through the system while brushes loosen contamination.
Our Duct Cleaning Process
Supreme Air LLC's duct cleaning process is one of the most thorough on the market thanks to the use of the patented Rotobrush® duct cleaning machine which actually scrubs the duct clean into a HEPA-filter vacuum, which does not allow any particles back into your home.
The duct cleaning process starts by removing all the supply and return registers and cleaning them. Then, we send the Rotobrush® into every branch duct to scrub and vacuum out all the dirt and debris. Then we move on to the main supply and return trunk ducts, where we open a small access hole in the duct and send in the Rotobrush® once more to scrub and vacuum out all the debris. Once the job is done, we re-install all the registers and grilles that were removed, and seal any holes in the main trunks with strong sheet metal caps and metalized tape.
ALL of our duct cleaning prices include unlimited vents.
A clean duct work will make the entire house breathe much easier as well as make it easier on your heating and air conditioning system to provide clean air. The Rotobrush air duct flexible hose and rotating brush allows us to reach the entire length of your homes duct work.
