Routine maintenance call for a well-functioning system coincided with a system component failure - it happens. System was left in functioning but less-then-optimal state - which was OK for short time. The next day I needed another visit from the techs to make changes to the temporary set-up - technician was sent very quickly and configured adequate temporary set-up while we waited on new circuit board. Supreme ALMOST loses a star as the wait-time was over a week... (I think they might have forgot about me 😉 ). But when I pinged them - service tech was sent first thing the next morning with the part and did a great job returning my system to 100% operational status. Mistakes happen - it is how they are handled by the service provided that makes the difference. Rapid response - Supreme has been great... though I have received the "...they will be there between 8 and 12..." - that too ALMOST loses a star. They gain it back by sending a picture of the tech before he arrives and actually calling homeowner while tech is still 45 minutes away. Seems simple but not many service providers can manage to do that. Good job Supreme!
Upon arrival checked thermostat, found no display, checked indoor unit and had 24 volts at indoor unit. Checked thermostat to see if common was connected, it was not, changed batteries and thermostat came on. System now up and running.
Water was coming out of the power vent of water heater expansion from heating water cause the joints inside water to expand and leak from the vent on top of water heater. Paid 59.00 will deduct from balance when job is complete.
I performed the cooling maintenance on the equipment, cleaned the drain, pressurized the ground loop to 65 psi. I checked the electrical wiring and electrical systems, all are within specification. I found the unit not cooling as well as it should be. I saw the problem once I shone the flashlight into the unit. The suction line service valve has been slowly leaking. It has a cap, which I tightened to keep it from losing further charge but it needs to be replaced so that the unit operates normal. I gave customer the estimate and completed a parts order form â€œestimate.â€
Replace blower motor for main house furnace. Upon arrival replaced blower motor, tested system operation, operation normal. Customer curious about installing damper to change amount of air flow between two vents in master bedroom. Check with Denny/Troy for possibility of installing/pricing. Previous payment not showing on job at them moment, collected payment and job completely payed.
Control Board was sending high and low voltage to the blower motor but it is not operating. The condenser operates and turns off because the evaporator coil ends up freezing over. The variable speed blower motor needs to be replaced. Customer approved the repair. Collect $334.10 balance once the repair is completed. Please reach out to the customer ASAP to come back and make the repair once the part is available. I completed a parts order form.
Upon arrival I found contactor pulled in but no high voltage, breaker tripped. Customer reset while I stayed at unit and breaker tripped right away. Found compressor grounded and winding open. Tried to remove compressor wiring harness and it is melted to compressor. Quoted customer to replace compressor but they may be interested in new system. They need a call from office regarding previous service and moving forward.
Service call on 06/01/19 On arrival set unit to call for cooling measured supply and return air temp no DT checked electrical connections checked voltage and amps checked filter I go outdoor condenser units I found all wires burnt also the contactor burnt out too I suggested replacing now to condenser unit to running I gave quote for customer accepted replaced the contactor rewire all electrical connections I tested start up and unit began operating very smoothly without any hesitating or lag checked electrical connections checked voltage and amps checked compressor capacitor measured supply and return air temp unit operating normal at this time. Also customer sign new service agreement collected $99 trip fee $300 for rewire the condenser unit electrical connections $278 for contactor replacement and $16.66 for one month service agreement fee total $694.46 On check #5562 . I recommended to replace the unit bc the house too big the unit customer has very small I explained the customer

On arrival removed defective blower motor ,i then installed new motor.also found out the wheel out of balance I recommended replacing it but customer want to think about it .i also checked refrigerant charge .unit operating normal at this time .
On arrival checked thermostat was calling for cooling and system kept cutting off on low pressure, found blower motor was not coming on. Condemn it and customer approved the repair. Customer paid half. $617.80 needs to be collect.
Service call 04/02/18 On arrival customer he put new thermostat T6Pro and is not operating normal checked the wires some wires it was not the right spot fixed reprogramming the thermostat tested call for heat call for cooling measured supply and return air temp measured voltage and amps inspected electrical connections checked AUX heat voltage and amps unit operating normal at this time. Collected $99 non agreement trip fee
On removed defective motor then replaced new ecm blower motor.tested motor.unit operating normal
It took a while to determine the problem with this unit. Customer believed it was related to the compressor. I checked amp draw of the compressor was normal, no vibrations felt or heard. The loop pump is a little louder than most but cannot be heard past the room the unit is in. Finally the noise was heard through the ducts. I took my amp clamp and checked the amp draw of the blower with the cabinet doors off, .34 and with the cabinet door closed and unit heating and blower does not ramp up. There was even a burnt smell from the head and the motor body was warm to the touch. The noise began to grow and I felt confident in determining it to be the problem. All other components are operating normal. Customer signed up for geo membership today and paid $841 towards the repair. I completed a parts order form. The office will call to schedule the follow up.
Replace hot surface igniter . Checked operations , supply air 127 and return air 72 .
Completed check on system . Found that it is operating properly . Blower motor pulling 2.1 amps , filter is clean , blower wheel is clean , extrications heat pulling 41.9 amps . Supply air with heat pump is 97 degrees and return air 72 . Supply air with aux heat and heat pump is 108 degrees . Costumer has heat .
Replaced warranty intellizone board and checked operations . System and dampers are all working properly .
Upon arrival I found zone panel not always sending voltage to zone 1 (wired to zone 5). Could have something to do with zone 1 not being wired to panel because it is malfunctioning. For now, have zone 1 and 2 constant 24v until we return. Customer preferred that those zones stay open and zones 3 and 4 remain closed.
When we arrived we checked the thermostat and call for heat, we checked water pressure entering and leaving. We checked the temperature entering and temperature leaving. We inspected the filter and make sure all the components were working properly. Found defective zone board, we moved zone one to zone 5 to give the customer temporary heat until we installed a new one.
